The Gulliver’s travels are an old novel. Consist of four title great books. The first book by title is A Voyage to Lilliput. It is consist of eight chapters. The second books by title is A Voyage to Brobdingnag, it is consist of also eight chapters. The third books by title are A Voyage to Laputa, Balnibarbi, Glubbdubdrid, Luggnagg, and Japan. At this chapter consists of eleven chapters. And the last book by title is A Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms, it is consist of twelve chapters.

Part I

Gulliver is washed ashore and find himself a prisoner of a race 1/12 the size of normal people, who are inhabitants of the neighboring and rival countries of Lilliput and Blefuscu. He helps Liliput but refuses to make Blefuscudian to be the province. Then the king considered him to be treason. He is charged to be blind. This is the satire of feud between England and France, and between Catholic and Protestant.

Part II

Gulliver is abandoned by his friends, and found by a farmer which is 18 meters tall. He brings Gulliver homes and his smart daughter takes care of him. He makes Gulliver circus, and the Queen loves Gulliver. He is almost seized by monkey, and on the trip to the seashore, his traveling box is seized by a giant eagle which drops Gulliver into the sea.

Part III

He landed in a kingdom near India where a kingdom is devoted to the arts f music and mathematic but unable to use for practical ends. The device is only the engine (which is now resembled to computer). Laputa’s method of throwing rock is similar to the aerial bombardment which was conceived as a method of warfare.

Part IV

After the mutiny, Gulliver is thrown to a land where hideous deformed creatures lived. It looks like a horse. Houyhnhnm is horses and he considered human as merely Yahoo (cretin, or Neanderthal). Then he is saved by Portuguese ship and returns to England. But he could not live among Yahoos anymore. He remained in his house and spending most time with horses.

Perhaps, this novel is able to teach to young adults, although the content using literature language because this novel included old navel but the still language understand. Trough this novel we can to teach for writing, speaking, reading aspect.
